After you release: reviews, updates and builds

You pressed release. Here is what happens next and what you can do from the Publish tab.

While the store reviews your app

Your app shows In review at Google or In review at Apple. Reviews usually take one to three days. You do not need to keep checking: Snapp follows the review and sends you a notification and an email when the store decides.

You can close Snapp while it works. Builds, uploads and reviews all continue without the app open.

When it is live

You see Live on Google Play or On the App Store, and under On the stores an Open on Google Play or Open on App Store link to your app's page. Share it.

If it is not approved

You see Not approved with a red cross.

  • Google Play: Snapp shows Google's reason, for example a privacy policy problem. Fix it on the store page, then release again.
  • App Store: open App Store Connect to read Apple's message, change what it asks for, then send again.
  • If you are not sure what to change, write to snappaico@gmail.com.

    Sending an update

  • You changed the app: build again, then tap Send update. A build that is already in the store cannot be sent twice, so Snapp asks for a new build when your app has changed.
  • You changed only the store page: tap Send store page. No build needed.
  • Builds and your plan

A build makes your app file. Each build uses one build from your plan. The Build card shows how many you have left this month, and the Build screen shows when they reset.

  • One build makes one file: AAB for Google Play, APK for your own Android phone, or IPA for the App Store.
  • Sending a build you already made to a store does not use another build.
  • Stop build cancels a running build. A build that already started still counts.
  • Every build is listed under Builds with its download.
  • Good to know

  • iPhone apps: apps built with Snapp are iPhone apps. They also open on an iPad, at iPhone size.
  • Your account, your app: your app is published under your own developer account. You can remove Snapp's access in Play Console or App Store Connect at any time; your published apps stay as they are.
