Your store page: what Snapp prepares and what you check
Snapp writes your store text, takes screenshots, makes your privacy policy and answers the stores' forms. Here is what to check before you approve.
Your store page: what Snapp prepares and what you check
Every app in a store needs a page: a name, a description, screenshots, a privacy policy and answers to the store's questions. Snapp prepares all of it. You check it and approve it.
Open it from Publish, step 3 Store page. When you open it from the Google Play tab you see what Google Play needs; from the App Store tab, what Apple needs.
What Snapp prepares
- Name and icon. The name people see in the store, and your app icon. You can change both here, and the new name is used everywhere: in Snapp, on the store page and in your next build.
- Store text. A short description, a full description and keywords, written in your language.
- Screenshots. Taken from your app.
- Privacy policy. A page that describes what your app collects, hosted for you. You add your name or company name and a contact email.
- Snapp's answers. The stores ask the same questions about every app: content rating, data safety, ads, target audience, app privacy. Snapp answers them from what your app does. Read them, and turn on the switch if they are right.
- a name that is already used on the App Store,
- a phone number that cannot be right,
- a description that is too long,
- something the store did not accept the last time Snapp sent your page, with the store's own words.
The yellow warnings
Anything the store will need but is missing is marked in yellow, next to the part it belongs to, and listed at the top under Still missing. For example:
Fix them, then approve.
Approve
Approve tells Snapp this page is right. Your changes are saved as you go, so there is no separate Save button. If you change something after approving, Snapp asks you to approve again: what is public in the store should always be what you approved.
Send it before you build
After you approve, you can send the store page to the store right away with Send to Google Play or Send to App Store. Snapp creates your app in the store, fills in the forms and adds your page, so you can see it there. Nothing is released and no build is needed.
Change it any time
Your store page is never locked. After your app is live, change the text or screenshots and tap Send store page on the release step. No new build is needed for that.
